One beautiful picture on three cards.

These beautiful cards were made as a last minute gift for a dear friend on her 80th birthday. She wanted lavendar cards with flowers. So this is what I came up with using my 3D papers. (My favorite color is purple and I wanted so badly to keep them for myself.)

You can use your cursor to "click" on each photo to see the detail better. The top card has paper piercing done on the bottom left. Very elegant! On the card above, I used gems.

Post-it-notes Stands

These bright, colorful gifts sit on your desk.

They were made as teacher gifts for the end of school. Each one comes with a matching gel pen. The post-it-note pad reads: with love. Each of the girls got to sign their name before wrapping the gift to give away:)

The quote reads "The best things in life aren't things at all."

3D papers

In early spring, I found these great 3D papers and started using them! I love them. They are to be stacked 2-6 layers on top of each other. But since that makes the card too thick (for my tastes) I separate the layers and make several unique cards individually:)

Sleep over Invitation

It's birthday party time once again and Kimberly wanted to have a sleep over. So, I had seen this card idea months before and wanted to use it for the invitations. Each little girl had their own hairstyle along with her pillow and teddy bear:) Inside the sleeping bag was the invitation. It was a lot of fun to make all the pieces. I borrowed a Cricut machine from a friend and spent a lot of time searching for just the right "sleep over" outfit!! I had matching slippers to go with the pajamas, but then you couldn't really tell what she was wearing. The girls had the best time getting their invites in the mail that week:) How great. Kimberly sent out sleeping bags again for her "thank you's".

Special Valentine's delivery

One of Courtney's girlfriends takes her school classes via the internet. So, when all the abundant snow came this winter and all the children from public school had "snow days", Kathryn was still doing her work at home! SHE didn't think this was very fair. What 6 year old would?? So, I made her a Valentine's mailbox and my girls put valentines in it to surprise her. We understood that she wouldn't be having a Valentine's party like they would either. Kathryn was thrilled to see it when we took it to her. What a fun project! I've also made these mailboxes for each of my sister's families and Grandmommy. (Each were monogramed and filled when delivered.) That way each grandchild and grandparent can make and send Valentines to each other every year:) How SWEET!!

For the future Young Woman

One of the Young Women leaders in our ward was having her first girl. So I made this card for all the YW to sign for her. You can imagine it filled with 25+ names and well-wishes...it was beautiful!

From Hawaii

I've been attending a monthly card group since Kimberly was born. Out of the 15+ members, I'm the only one with children at home. Anyway, one of the ladies does a lot of traveling and went on a cruise to Hawaii. Of course, when you travel, it is a known fact that you will be making stops at any craft stores along the way. And she stopped into one in Hawaii. The shop didn't have ANY samples up...so, my friend suggested that OUR club make some for the shop! Well, my friend got to come home with free "Hawaiian" stamps (for her) and WE got to make the beautiful sample cards to send back.

These are the 5 cards I designed for the shop, with the stamps I borrowed.
